Bio note
I am Lyadalla Rajashekar a doctoral candidate in English Literature within the Humanities and Social Sciences at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. I am passionately engaged in the exploration of language and society. My academic pursuits are deeply rooted in a profound fascination for the intricate interplay between linguistic dynamics and societal structures.
Currently, I am directing my scholarly efforts toward unraveling the complexities of state identity, urban cities, and language ideologies. In this pursuit, I seek to contribute meaningful insights to our understanding of how language functions within the context of urban environments, particularly exploring its role in the construction and negotiation of state identities.
